My background includes over 25 years of strategic planning to include business formation, product development, go-to-market and market development strategies for industrial and commercial manufacturers, consumer goods, advanced research and development, healthcare, financial institutions, Internet start-ups and retail chains. Commercialization and scale-up experience with an emphasis on product introduction, leadership for early stage and start-up companies, market and business development and early stage venture investment. As a contributor to West Virginia’s technology-based economic development movement, I serve on both the board of directors and executive committee of TechConnect WV, (WV Technology-based economic development), the Chemical Alliance Zone Incubator Advisory Board and Commercialization Network and the WV High Technology Consortium Foundation Affiliate Leadership Council. Supportive of education and entrepreneurship as a board member of the West Virginia University Davis College Environmental and Energy Resource Management (EQUAD) program and the Fairmont State University School of Business Advisory Board.

I also serve as a board member of Walking Miracles, a West Virginia 501c3 non-profit organization that empowers children, young adults, adolescents, childhood cancer survivors and their families by connecting them to resources and referral networks that provide hope, and support through their cancer journey. I also serving on the corporate boards of Aither Chemicals, Berkley Springs Instruments, Greenbrier Technical Services, Mighty Tykes, PolyPlexx, and as a member of the WV Growth Investment Fund, (an Angel Investment fund).
